Is there anyone who had to deal with stubbing text/event-stream calls? It's one of the few things Playwright doesn't support , I'm looking for a workaround (in Playwright) or other ways to solve the issue without too much impact on the application code itself.

This thread is trying to answer question "How can I deal with stubbing text/event-stream calls in Playwright?"

I recommend to file an issue on GitHub for it, might be a valid feature request.
