Senior SDET

DexCare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer in Test to join the team. In this role, you'll focus on understanding how customers use the platform, extending and contributing to the automation framework, and creating, maintaining, and executing automated test case validation of existing and new scenarios. You will be responsible for planning out automation framework extensibility, mentoring other SDET's, and ensuring the success of the testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine a testing strategy for each feature, including documenting and creating test plans and automated functional and integrated test cases
• Contribute to and extend the current automation framework as needed
• Take ownership as a team lead and ensure all testing activities are accounted for from non-prod to prod with all customers
• Work closely with engineering teams to accomplish the testing capabilities
• Mentor and guide SDET’s and QAE’s in using automation capabilities
• Execute, communicate test results, and maintain test cases, becoming a SME in all areas of the product
• Participate in code reviews and architectural design reviews

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on quality assurance and SDET work experience with a focus on automation frameworks and automation testing
• White box testing and automation
• Proficiency in coding with TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience writing and understanding JEST and Playwright test scripts
• Understanding of GitHub, GitActions, and source code repositories capabilities, specifically around CI/CD
• Knowledge and usage of TestRails
• Familiarity with Kanban, Agile, scrum methodologies, and tools like Atlassian, Slack, splunk, data dog
