Senior SDET

Indigov is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SDET to join our fast-paced, highly collaborative and close-knit engineering team where they will focus on improving user experience. The role includes creating and maintaining well-designed automated tests, transforming manual test cases into automated end-to-end test suites and working collaboratively with various cross-functional teams. Ideally, the candidate would have extensive experience with QA methodologies, functional test automation, and SaaS product environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain well-designed automated tests, including both functional and performance tests.
• Set best practices for automated testing for other engineers.
• Transform manual test cases into automated end-to-end test suites.
• Track and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated manner.
• Proactively report on quality risks to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product/Design to understand how new features should be tested and prioritize automated test coverage of projects and improvements.
• Contribute to the productive capacity of the engineering team by improving deployment process, quality of released software, stability of dev environments, etc.

Experience

• Experience with QA methodologies, functional test automation and accessibility testing in a SaaS product environment (5+ years)
• Scripting languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript or Python
• Experience with REST APIs for investigating and mocking network requests
• Hands-on experience with popular web UI testing frameworks such as TestCafe, Cyprus, and/or Playwright
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) with the ability to manage setup, maintenance, and deployment
• Knowledge of writing automated tests to vet accessibility guidelines and standards, including WCAG 2.1 and Section 508
• Experience with performance testing

Compensation

$150,000.00 - $170,000.00 YEAR
