can i get playwright faster ?

is there an args or something to pass in browser launch can make it faster ?

This thread is trying to answer question "Is there an argument or method to pass in browser launch to make it faster when using Playwright?"

Use chrome? My experience is that Chrome is the fastest.

Not really, the launch time is the most time consuming thing. If you wanna lose that, try basing your tests only on jest. (If its just api testing)

If you only want to do API testing, you do not need to launch the browser. In this case it is likely that PW test (not PW library) is faster than jest.

I have found PW to be way faster than the tool we were previously using (TestComplete 😛 )

I think playwright is faster than other options, but maybe some unit tests will be faster than end to end test but maybe not in firefox
