Can we do unit testing using Playwright?

I used Playwright for my project, mainly focussed on snapshot comparisons and sort of component testing ( on click of component and redirects of links). Just wanted to know if there is any scope of unit testing ?

This thread is trying to answer question "Can we do unit testing using Playwright?"

You can du unit testing but if you will need to do mocking/stubs then you will also need 3rd party lib like sinon or jest-mock
